My debut collection 'Zooxanthellae' re-uses what is labelled as single use plastic, such as Covid-19 PPE and plastic shoppping bags. The collection also makes use of beautiful, colourful pieces of plastic litter I collected from the coast while litter-picking, and gives them a second life within my garments.
I am currently working on a ready-to-wear line of garments, for which I am hoping to use recycled wool to crochet with, and other more sustainable materials. I am in the process of conducting this research and sampling, so will release more details of this collection soon!
